NEHL Re-adjusts League Schedule January 11, 2007 Fort Erie, ON - The North Eastern Hockey League has cancelled the game between the Findlay Freedom and the Norfolk IceCats for Saturday January 12 and the Saturday January 26 Kensington Valley Pounders game. The adjustments are needed due to the Kensington Valley Pounders are in the process of being taken over by a new ownership group and are not ready. IceCats Win on the Road January 6, 2008 Norfolk, ON - The Norfolk IceCats traveled to Rome, NY to take on the Copper City Chiefs last night and came home with their first road win in 3 tries this season. With only 8 skaters able to make it due to illnesses to various players it looked like a daunting task to be able to avenge their 10-8 loss previously in Rome.
The IceCats coach Jim Cashman set a game plan to give them the best chance possible to win and it seemed to work right off the bat. The players executed it perfectly and stuck with it the whole game to come out victorious. Norfolk scored early to go up 1-0 when |

| | | The North Eastern Hockey League is a third year minor hockey league. We use NHL rules with a few variations. The NEHL is a high scoring, fast paced league. In the first season games averaged 15 goals per game between both teams. The NEHL is based on affordability for both the owner and the fans.
